Relationship Or Marriage Is Not 50/50 Deal
Relationship or marriage requires 100% input from both parties. Before Christ became the husband (head) of church he was already 100% Full of the spirit of God. He did not offer to the church a half bred christ (husband) but a complete christ.
Before engaging yourself in any relationship, make sure that you are ready for it. Some of us jumped into marriage just because our mates are getting married some jumped in because of money,fame,etc. I am urging us to make sure that we are ready, both physical and spiritually ready before jumping into marriage.
Through wisdom is our house builded and by understanding it is established and by knowledge shall the chambers be filled with all precious and pleasured riches.

Give it everything you have, go into it with open heart and a clear mind. Don't give it a trial. Learn how to be grateful for everything you have received in your life, be grateful for everything you are receiving in your life. Be grateful also for what you want in your life as though you have received it.
In a process of being grateful, learn how to interact with each other. Interaction simply means doing something with another person in a mutal way for benefit of each other. Leaving your own domain to affect another in a positive or negative way.
